Born Again to a Living Hope
October 1989, God called me to Him. I’ve been walking in His grace, by faith ever since. God graciously saved my soul through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. I have seen God’s power in my weakness, and WOW! It’s been an incredible journey. This space is all in His honour, from beginning to end.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he caused us to be born again to a living hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed at the last day.” 1 Peter 1:3-5 (ESV)
Who I Am:
Wife. Mom. Grandma. Daughter. Sister. Friend. (Newlywed; sharing that story later!)
Born, raised & living in a small coastal village located in the “Heart of Acadia,” New-Brunswick, Canada.
Cap Pele, a small fishing community, sandy beaches, sun and seafood… known for the warmth of its people.
Hi! I’m Norma!
I’m delighted that you’re here. This site reflects my heart, my vision & my ambitions. God has done great things in my life and I know he’ll do the same for you. You no longer have to live by the world’s standards, God knows the rest of the story.
Paul reminds us: “…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). He also encourages us, “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” (Philippians 3:13-14).

In addition to family life, I’m actively involved in a small reformed baptist church. Our congregation is a tremendous fellowship, feeding on solid reformed theology. I’ve regularly been leading women Bible studies for over 20 years, as well as participating in various women ministries.
The idea for this blog began as I retired from the workforce. God began tugging at my heart to share my faith and the process of Christian living, especially to women. My humble desire is to reach Wives, Moms, Sisters and Daughters with the powerful knowledge of the Word of God… and be ye transformed day by day into more of the character of Christ. THAT takes a renewing of the mind and is our highest calling.
I like the simple life. I enjoy summer drives with my hubby to our beautiful wharves, listening to God’s Word on our iPad and meditating on His creation. We love watching sunsets, watching fishermen come in with the day’s catch and chatting with people from our community.
For 18 years, I worked as a hairstylist in my home. It was important for me to be available and keep an eye on what was happening in the lives of my kids. Once on their own, I decided to change careers. For the next 10 years, I worked in dental offices in administration. Eventually, I returned to working from home.
I got busy studying the web for 2 years & opened a coaching business online. In 5 years, I built a community of 2,000+ women & led hundreds to success, building a business online. My specialty was how to effectively market and get your brand visible online.
Then, My Heart Stopped & Started Beating Again…

Its amazing what GOD can do in a life devoted to HIM. How beautiful to see the transformation that comes by being washed daily in the Word, in communication with HIM. Prayer and fellowship with brothers and sisters in the faith is an important thing. I know as your husband that GOD is working tremendously in your life to HIS glory… Blessings.

The Christian life is ALL about growing into more and more like the character of Jesus. Tall order but the Holy Spirit keeps shaping, taking away and adding what we need every day.
