  • If you don’t know someone intimately, it’s very superficial. Trust is at the heart. 
  • Scripture shows us that God is intimately involved with those who trust him.
  • The more we trust in God, the more intimately we come to know him. 
  • James says it this way: “Draw near to God, He’ll draw near to you” James 4:8

Paul reminds us: “…anyone who belongs to Christ becomes a new person. The old life is gone; a new has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

He also encourages us, “No, dear brothers & sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” (Philippians 3:13-14). Find healing, freedom and a new life.

Growing in Faith & Character is Crucial

We are commanded in Scripture to “Grow in the grace & knowledge of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The glory belongs to him both now & to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18). This is a command: spiritual growth in faith. 

What Should a Christian’s Diet Consist Of? The Word of God!

The truth taught in the Bible is rich food for Christians. God gives us everything we need in knowledge of Him. In 2 Peter 1:3-11 Peter lists character traits for maturity to take place and for a rich welcome into eternity’s kingdom with our Savior Jesus Christ.

We’re So Much Stronger TOGETHER…

Trust In The Creator

Romans 8:31-39 “So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger?

The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture…

None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

Romans 12:2 admonishes, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then, you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good, pleasing and perfect.”
